RIH the Press: Ramapo Indian Hills BOE Defunds Student Mental Health Programs, Sparking Backlash and Ironic Protest

The Ramapo Indian Hills BOE is in the press again, this time for defunding student mental health programs.


It's ironic that the parents who once fought hard against the mental health impacts of COVID restrictions, such as mask-wearing and remote learning, are now protesting against providing mental health resources to students. Equally ironic is that the Board Members who partnered with, supported, and campaigned for these parents not only voted against these mental health programs but also maintained their opposition even when given multiple opportunities to reconsider their votes.
