The next meeting of the RIH BOE is tomorrow, Jan 4th, at 6:30pm in the Ramapo High School Auditorium. This is the Annual Reorganization meeting where the new Board members are sworn in, a new President and Vice President are selected by the Board, and numerous administrative motions are approved such as approving legal counsel, architects, check signatories, etc. for the year. There is also a motion to approve the Curriculum for the year from January 4, 2024 until January 2025.
One item that is NOT on the RIH agenda for discussion is the Superintendent Search process, which is a public discussion. The proposals from search firms were due by December 31, so the Board should be able to have a public discussion about all the proposals received and the pros and cons of each search firm. Since it is not on the agenda tomorrow, I assume it will be discussed at a future public meeting.
