Update 8:30pm
The public portion of the RIH BOE meeting has ended, and the Board went into closed session. Numerous members of the public raised significant concerns about the rumored candidate, who was present at the meeting.
Four minority board members, DeLaite, Bogdansky, Koulikourdis and Lorenz read a joint statement about the flawed process and made a proposal to go out and search for an Interim Superintendent.
Kim Ansh and her majority (Emollo, Kiel, Souders and Mariani) made statements about how hard they think they work and how seriously they think they take their role. A Franklin Lakes resident who just left a position in Garfield raised significant concerns.
The Board went into closed session, and 'may' come back and take action later. Keep your Livestream open.

10:45 PM - Dr. Cusmano left the BOE closed session meeting
11:25 PM - the Board has dispersed without coming back into public session, so it appears that no action will be taken tonight.
