The agenda for the Monday, May 19th RIH BOE meeting was just posted, and while I usually provide a summary of the full agenda over the weekend, I thought it was important to share one item immediately. In a sudden turn of events, the RIH BOE faces another major resignation. The district's recently hired attorney, The Busch Law Group, has abruptly resigned, effective July 11th.
What would drive an experienced and reputable firm to resign from a new client after only three months? This is all the more surprising as we have heard nothing but positive statements about the firm when they were hired, and praise from the Board President about the service they were providing. It is often said the main reason cited for an employee leaving a job is their dissatisfaction with their manager or leadership.
