A Special Meeting of the Ramapo Indian Hills Board has been added to the calendar for Thursday, June 27th. This follows an unexpected closed session last night, where board members Tom Bogdansky and Aaron Lorenz voted against the motion to enter into the closed session after the regular meeting. It remains unclear how many board members attended last night's closed session after the meeting.
Thursday's Special Meeting will be a Closed Executive Session to discuss personnel matters. "Action may be taken." This meeting is scheduled just 3 days before Dr. Tarchichi's start date on July 1.
Additionally, the resolution to hire a Special Counsel, The Comegno Law Group, was removed from last night's agenda without any announcement from the board president. For transparency’s sake it is typical for the board president to inform the community at the start of a meeting about any items removed from the agenda. As a result, the board did not vote on hiring The Comegno Law Group, a firm reportedly representing the Pennsauken Board of Education.
The Special meeting will take place in the Conference Room at the Board Office behind Indian Hills High School.
