The next meeting of the RIH BOE is on Monday January 29th at 8pm, at the Indian Hills High School auditorium.
The agenda is full. It includes a Board Ethics Training Presentation by NJ School Boards Association. Among other things, the agenda includes numerous personnel motions, a motion to reject the cell tower lease to T-Mobile, a motion to put armed security officers in both high schools, and a motion to approve transfers from one budget line to another (this was how the Board covered the excessive legal costs last year, by transferring money from other line items in the budget).
It also includes a motion to accept a very generous scholarship from the estate of Laraine K. Morrison and the John D. and Laraine J. Morrison Charitable Trust, for up to two students up to $50,000 per student per year.
