A Chance Encounter with Wisdom

Walking home from dinner tonight with my family on vacation, a chance encounter with a statue of Anne Frank in the park set me thinking deeply. The message beneath her likeness rang loud and clear: "How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment to improve the world." But what if the world you know is being dragged down by a few?

For eight long months, Judy Sullivan, Kim Ansh, Tom Bogdansky, Marianna Emmolo, and Doreen Mariani have wreaked havoc on our district. Their meddling and blatant disrespect forced our superb and talented superintendent to resign. Their decisions, far from improving our world, have cast shadows over our FLOW community.

But Anne Frank's words remind us: we don’t have to stand by and watch. It’s time we confront the chaos these board members have sown. We must rally, not only to challenge their reckless actions but to salvage our district and its reputation.

Take Action Now:

1. Email the Board: Demand these board members' immediate resignation. Their actions speak louder than words, and their continued presence is a stain on our district. Their email address is: RIHBOE@rih.org

2. Attend Board Meetings: Stand up and be heard. Let Sullivan, Ansh, Bogdansky, Emmolo, and Mariani know that their misguided power play has cost us dearly: in community spirit, tax dollars, property values, and the departure of skilled staff. The next meeting is scheduled for Monday, August 28, 2023 in the Ramapo High School Auditorium.

3. Vote Them and the Candidates they Support Out: When the time comes, remember the damage. Cast your votes to dismantle this destructive majority.

Silence is not an option. For the sake of our children, for the future of our district, act now.
